• The Activities are physically demanding and require a degree of agility, strength and stamina. Participants should be comfortable hiking on steep terrain in weather conditions which may be very hot, windy or wet. To join a Flying Fox tour you will need: A reasonable degree of fitness Full body control Full hand-eye-foot co-ordination A degree of comfort with heights To carry any medication that you may need, for example, an inhaler. The following will adversely affect your ability to participate: If you are pregnant All heart conditions (including high blood pressure) All respiratory conditions Back, limb or joint injuries Missing limbs, including prosthetics Vertigo, dizziness, visual impairment (except wearing prescription glasses or contact lenses), and learning difficulties
• Clothing & Possessions It is the responsibility of all participants to ensure that they are dressed appropriately and Flying Fox advises participants to wear clothing appropriate for the weather conditions and which they do not mind getting damaged. Participants may not undertake the Activities in open-toed or slip-off shoes. You must wear closed-toe, outdoor shoes (no flip flops or sandals) and shorts or trousers (no saris or skirts). Long hair must be tied back and dangling jewellry removed. Waists must be covered and piercings removed or taped over for comfort Flying Fox reserves the right to refuse admittance to the Activities to any participant who is not appropriately dressed. During hot weather, you are advised to bring a sun hat, sunglasses and sun cream.
• Participants may leave possessions at the site office at their own risk. Flying Fox will not be responsible for any damage to or loss of clothing or other personal items of persons resulting from participation in the Activities or loss of items stored or left in any Flying Fox office.
• High Season - Rishikesh has a very high season during the March, April, May and June every year. So there is always a huge rush in Delhi to Rishikesh during the weekends due to which you may face Traffic in Rishikesh & Nearby area so please start your journey according to manageable time.
