Rajaji National Park - Wild life in Rajaji National Park is the best place for the nature lovers. It has total area of 820 sq feet. Jeep Safari is the best way to feel the wild life in an open Jeep in Rajaji National Park (34 kilometre long track).
The Safari starts from Chilla and lasts for about 2-3 hours in which you get to feel the wild life while sitting on the Jeep through a rough and rugged terrain. Main attraction in this safari is spotting of asian Elephant, King Cobra, Monkey, Tigers, Leopard, Deer, Striped Hyena, Neel Gaye etc. and beautiful rare birds like Kingfishers, Blue headed Thrush, etc. It has more than 400 bird species.
Jim Corbett National Park
Jim Corbett National Park is well known and fabled for its tiger richness. It is the India's oldest and most prestigious National Park. It is also being honored as the place where Project Tiger was first launched in 1973. Total Area is around 520 square kilometers comprises of hills, marshy depressions, river belts, grasslands and lake. It is among the few tiger reserves in India that allows overnight stays in the Park. Corbett and its adjoining area has more than 650 species of birds.
