It's where River Ganga touches the Indio-Gangetic plains for the first time after its birth in the Himalayas. One of the seven most sacred Hindu destinations in the country, Haridwar is world-popular for Kumb Mela, held at every 12 years.

It's both the River Rafting capital of India and the yoga capital of the world. The Himalayas surround the holy town from three sides. The sacred Ganges passing through it enhances the beauty of Rishikesh manifolds.

The capital city of Uttarakhand, Dehradun is one of the most visited hill stations in northern India. Beautifully tucked away into the Himalayas, the city is also among the most ancient in the state.

One major geographical feature of Mussoorie is that it's located along a horseshoe-like ridge. It's also one of the most traveled hill stations in the country. As it's termed as the 'Queen of Hills', you can't afford to miss a visit here.

Located at just 30 km from Mussoorie, Dhanaulti is almost a paradisiacal destination, densely forested with Deodar and Oak trees. If you want to enjoy complete solitude while connecting with nature, it's just the place to be.

It's one among the four sacred maths of the Shankaracharya. Located very close to Badrinath (one of the Chardham destinations), it's a must-see tourist place whether you want to experience natural beauty or spirituality.
