Corbett National Park, located in the foothills of the Himalayas in the closest proximity of Ramnager (Nainital) is the majestic haven of the rich flora & fauna. It is India's first National Park which was named after a legendry hunter, naturalist turned author and photographer who had helped in setting up the park and demarcating its boundaries.

Jim Corbett National Park is well known and fabled for its tiger richness. It is the India's oldest and most prestigious National Park. It is also being honored as the place where Project Tiger was first launched in 1973. Total Area is around 520 square kilometers comprises of hills, marshy depressions, river belts, grasslands and lake. It is among the few tiger reserves in India that allows overnight stays in the Park. Corbett and its adjoining area has more than 650 species of birds.
